The gothic church of St. Anton is at the heart of the monastery. One of its' most well-known dwellers is monk Cyprian, who lived there between 1756 and 1775.

At that time, Cyprian was a well-educated man specialising in the fields of medicine, botany, pharmacy and alchemy, but also in mechanics and cosmology. He lived in several monasteries and very likely also in Italy, where he gained most of his botanical and herbal knowledge. According to legend, Cyprian established one of the oldest pharmacies in Central Europe here and constructed one of the first rogallo wings. Any visitor will be overwhelmed by the spiritual atmosphere of this monastery.

We then continue to the small town of Stara Lubona where we find a medieval castle founded in the 12th century by the Austrian King Ondrej III.
